The Aqua Rite Electronic Chlorine Generator (also known as a salt chlorinator) is the
largest selling system in the world. It automatically produces pure chlorine every day while
the pool is being filtered and distributes it evenly throughout the pool via the return jets.
The Aqua Rite uses a low concentration of salt dissolved in the pool water (below the level
of taste) to maintain daily chlorine. It is also NSF certified and approved for use on

Pool Pumps The pump is the most important piece of equipment on the
pool. The pump circulates the water continuously through the filter to
clean the water and also pushes the water through the heater to warm the
pool. We have a complete stock of Jandy and Hayward pool pumps.
Filters The filter keeps the pool clean and shinning. When the water is
pushed through the filter by the pump small particles of dirt and debris are
trapped in the filter and not returned to the pool water. In a sand filter the
debris eventually will compromise the efficiency of the filter. The sand
performance. In a cartridge filter there is no backwashing and usually a
once a year cleaning will keep the filter running as it should.
Heater The heater is the luxury you should not skip. The heater will warm
the pool so that it is more comfortable to use. The heater will provide a
longer swimming season. Usually a heater will run on natural gas but if it
is not available a propane unit can be used.
Salt Generators A salt generator turns the salt placed in the pool into
chlorine. The chlorine produced by salt generating is a more gentle form
than using pucks or liquid. It allows the swimmer to spend a longer time
in the pool without the wrinkling skin and it does not fade swim wear or
turn hair green.
